Norwich Papers is an annual journal based at the University of East Anglia, consisting of a range of essays and papers on issues in Translation Studies. Every year the journal concentrates on a specific theme and values its contributions from a wide range of academic backgrounds.
This year’s topic is
“In the Mind’s Eye: Translation in a Visual Age”
It will explore and invites papers regarding:
Issues related to translating scripts for dubbing or subtitling (for film and television)
Issues relating to theatre translation
Issues surrounding translation of comics, graphic novels, and picture books
